  • Pastry Chef or 3rd/4th year apprentice.

    Crafers Bakehouse - South Australia

    To be considered for this role, you will have:
    • A relevant trade qualification (at least Certificate III level)
    Advanced knowledge of all stages of the baking and patisserie process
    • Creative mindset and willingness to produce new products with seasonal produce
    • Understanding of bakery equipment
    • Ability to work shifts with early morning starts
    • A high standard of personal presentation
    • A positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Willingness to continuously learn, retain knowledge, and adapt to changes
    Has availability to work across a 7-day roster, between the hours of 2am and 2pm
    Pastry Chef will be responsible for:

    • Delivery of quality pastry products both sweet and savoury

    • Creating high quality fresh products using seasonal produce

    • Ensuring a high standard of bakery presentation and cleanliness

    • Being a supportive and encouraging team member

    We’re looking for our next qualified or near qualified baking superstar for our bustling bakery in picturesque Echuca. We currently have a generous sign-on bonus for this role of up to $1,000 (T’s & Cs apply).

    • An eye for detail and a strong work ethic

    • Skills & experience in the production of bread and other baked goods

    • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced bakery environment

    • Ability to follow written instructions

    • Experience weighing and mixing raw ingredients

    • A real passion for quality and consistency
