BAA PROUDLY PRESENTS

Bake Skills Australia

After more than 30 years overseeing & coordinating the Bake Skills Australia Championships, Craig Perry & Allstates DCP Marketing Services are passing the baton on to the Baking Association of Australia to be the new custodians of this time honoured event.

Craig highlighted that the objective of Bake Skills - to support Quality, Training & Professionalism in baking - remains unchanged today. "It's been a wonderful journey over these many years, seeing & meeting so many talented young bakers & pastry chefs, who've taken the opportunity that Bake Skills provides, to show off their skills" Craig said. "However, the time is now right for someone like the BAA to become the new custodians".

"The event partners & sponsors who have helped fund and drive the Bake Skills opportunity were happy once we explained the reasons and why we believe the BAA have the reputation and infrastructure to keep up the great work carried by Industry so far."

Tony Smith Executive Officer of the BAA said, “the board were honoured to be approached by Craig and as the industry peak body in Australia that oversees many industry events, the BAA would work with all industry partners to ensure the Bake Skills Championships stayed exactly how it has been formatted.  The BAA is pleased and looking forward to working on the Bake Skills Championships with Fine Foods as they celebrate 40 years.  2024 is going to be very special for everyone involved.”
